Demos
How to send your material to us
We recieve a vast amount of demo material every week and as such it is very helpful if you can follow this guidance in order to get your demo heard. The pressures of time are such that material recieved in any other way may not get listened too.
- The quickest and fastest way to get material to us is by sending an MP3 as an attachement to an e-mail to demos@aatw.com
- Please do not send emails with links to Myspace profiles asking us to listen to material on the myspace player. Sadly, more often than not it doesn't work and we are unable to keep checking until it does.
- Please do not send links via media hosting sites like Putfile, again they are notoriously unreliable. If you are unable to email large attachements, Yousendit.com seems to be the most reliable method of sending large files.
- Please do not chase up demos by phone, if we like the material we will be in touch ourselves.
- If sending demos via the post please send them on an Audio CD. Suprisingly people still send in Tapes, Minidiscs and DATs and I'm afraid we no longer have the facilities to play them back!
- Please make sure all emails, attachements, CDs and letters are clearly marked. We get a large amount of blank CDs, MP3's named 'Track1.mp3' and so on. If they get seperated from they're covering letter or email it can be impossible to find out the owner.
- We regret that we cannot give feedback on material which we do not wish to pursue further.
